Training Global Workers

In-house foreign resident language course

Hanwha Advanced Materials, which aims to become a leading global advanced material company, operates in-house foreign language programs taught by resident foreigners to develop language skills and the global mindset of employees.
English and Chinese native speaker instructors reside in the language labs in Sejong / Jochiwon / Eumseong branches, and they conduct various types of courses such as one-on-one learning, small-group learning, group conversations and lectures.

Overseas training program for new employees

In order to enhance the skills and capacity of the new employees and have them experience global business and organization early in their career, we are providing exceptional opportunities to work overseas for 6 months to new employees who have been in the company for less than one year.
New employees are dispatched to one of seven overseas corporations in five countries (USA, China, Germany, Czech Republic and Mexico) considering the requests and job relevance of new employees. They will perform various activities such as overseas corporate work practice, individual projects, local language development, and cultural endeavours.

Job Competency Education System
(Competency Education - Core/Job/Career Group)

We are operating a systematic job training system in order to secure technological capability that meets the status of high-tech materials companies.
We derive necessary competencies for each position/job group and develop curriculum to improve the skills of employees.

HPMP(Hanwha Pre-Manager Program) for New Employees

In order to develop 'well-performing new employees’ recognized by the team leaders, we operate general competency courses and individual job training.
Through this course, new employees will take two years of overseas training programs and 200 hours of internal/external job training.

Team Leader Training

In order to improve team managers’ organizational management and their ability to strengthen teamwork, we operate specialized leadership capacity-building courses. Through these efforts, we are striving to enhance employee involvement and improve the organizational culture.

Training for promotion candidates

We are conducting leadership training programs for promotion candidates, such as communication skills, coaching method, and organizational management, to create a high performance and cooperative organizational atmosphere.

Women Leadership Training

In order to encourage female leadership, we operate specialized leadership capacity-building courses. Through these efforts, we are striving to enhance employee involvement and improve the organizational culture.
